A suspect, Glendon Amos, known as ‘Bull’, has been charged with three counts of shooting with intent. He was apprehended by police after being on the run for over a year. The charges stem from an incident on September 9, 2023, when Amos allegedly fired at officers during a police operation in the Commodore district of Linstead, St Catherine.

Amos’s capture occurred on January 29, 2025, in Moneague, St Ann, during another police operation. Following his arrest, he was formally charged on February 12, and his court date is currently being arranged. The police are continuing their efforts to address violent crime, as exemplified by this case.
