The Jordan International Food Exhibition, now in its eighth edition, spans 7,000 square meters at the Amman International Automobile Hall, featuring over 100 companies, including 80 from Jordan. It showcases live cooking demonstrations and emphasizes Jordan’s growth in the food industry, with hopes for increased partnerships and exports. The eighth edition of the Jordan International Food Exhibition kicked off at the Amman International Automobile Hall, showcasing the country’s largest food exhibition covering 7,000 square meters. Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Yarub Qudah inaugurated the event, which highlights both local and international participation, with more than 100 companies involved, including 80 Jordanian firms and others from various Middle Eastern countries.

Fathi Jaghbir, Chairman of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, underscored the importance of this exhibition for promoting Jordanian food products. He noted its role in facilitating partnerships between manufacturers, distributors, and traders, and emphasized the exhibition’s contribution to showcasing the growth and diversity within Jordan’s food industry.

Jordan’s food sector includes 2,666 establishments with a capital investment of JD641 million, employing 50,000 individuals. Food exports constitute 9% of Jordan’s total exports, indicating a significant potential for growth, according to Jaghbir.

The exhibition features live cooking demonstrations by prominent Jordanian and Arab chefs, alongside exclusive offers on food products. Visitors can explore the exhibition from 2 PM to 9 PM daily until February 28, with free entry and opportunities for direct purchasing.
