Jackie Shroyer, widow of missionary Beau Shroyer, has been charged with his murder in Angola. Pastor Troy M. Easton confirmed the charges, indicating Jackie’s alleged involvement in a murder-for-hire plot. Investigators claim Jackie had connections with her husband’s alleged killers and facilitated the crime. The couple’s five children are being supported by family and their church community following the incident.

Jackie Shroyer, aged 44 and widow of Minnesota missionary Beau Shroyer, has been formally charged in connection with her husband’s murder in Lubango, Angola, last October. Pastor Troy M. Easton from Lakes Area Vineyard Church, where the couple were members, announced the charges, revealing Jackie’s suspected role as a conspirator in a murder-for-hire scheme that led to Beau’s death.

Easton expressed deep sorrow in sharing this news with the congregation and confirmed that Jackie will remain in custody pending a court trial, with a date expected within six months. Manuel Halaiwa from Angola’s Criminal Investigation Service has suggested that Jackie orchestrated the murder plot involving three accomplices, fueled by personal motives, including a romantic connection with one of the conspirators.

Beau Shroyer was discovered murdered on October 25, stabbed inside his vehicle. Investigators assert that Jackie first solicited her alleged lover, Bernardino Elias, 24, to kill Beau, promising $50,000 for the deed. Jackie reportedly took steps to facilitate the murder, including paying $400 to arrange the killing at a location where Beau often gave her driving lessons.

The plot was disguised to appear as a robbery, with Elias allegedly compensating the other two accomplices, Isalino Kayoo and Gelson Ramos, $9,000 for their roles. Following the tragedy, a GoFundMe campaign successfully raised $15,000 to support the couple’s five children and handle the repatriation of Beau’s remains.

Easton assured the congregation that the children would be cared for by family and the church community, requesting prayers for the family during this difficult time. He emphasized the need for justice and truth in light of the ongoing legal proceedings, suggesting that faith should be maintained amidst these circumstances.

Jackie Shroyer has been charged with the murder of her husband, Beau Shroyer, as part of an alleged conspiracy involving romantic connections. With ongoing investigations and court proceedings ahead, the case raises critical issues regarding motive and justice. The couple’s children remain under family care, and the community continues to offer support while seeking truth in the unfolding situation.
