Proforce Secures Orders for PF Hulk Vehicles at IDEX 2025

Proforce secured orders for the PF Hulk vehicle from Mali and Nigeria at IDEX 2025 in Abu Dhabi. The PF Hulk, a licensed version of the Russian AMN-590951 ‘Spartak,’ features advanced mine protection and a powerful engine. Proforce also introduced the PF Viper upgrade for enhanced performance and capabilities in African conditions.

At the IDEX 2025 in Abu Dhabi from February 17-21, Proforce, a Nigerian defense manufacturer, announced that both Mali and Nigeria have placed orders for their PF Hulk protected vehicles. The PF Hulk is based on the Russian AMN-590951 ‘Spartak’ model and is produced under license in Nigeria.

The PF Hulk is a 4×4 protected vehicle configured to seat 2+8 passengers, featuring a gross weight of 14.5 tonnes. It is equipped with a 6.65-liter YaMZ-536 six-cylinder engine, generating 360 horsepower, and can have either a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle offers mine protection compliant with STANAG 4569 levels 2a and 2b.

Additionally, Proforce is offering the PF Viper, an upgrade to the Otokar Cobra vehicle. This enhanced version features an additional pair of doors for improved accessibility and modifications for better engine cooling to suit African climates. The PF Viper weighs seven tonnes and is powered by a Hyundai 3-liter V6 engine providing up to 250 horsepower.

Proforce’s PF Hulk and PF Viper vehicles signify advancements in local defense manufacturing, showcasing Nigeria’s ability to meet domestic and regional security needs. The successful orders from Mali and Nigeria underline the growing demand for armored vehicles designed with specific operational requirements in mind.
