The Italian Trade Agency, in collaboration with UCIMA, showcases 17 Italian businesses at a packaging exhibition in Vietnam. The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) is participating in a packaging machinery exhibition in Vietnam, alongside the UCIMA Association, showcasing 17 Italian businesses. Over three days, visitors can engage with these companies to explore advanced packaging technologies and specialized processing techniques, including filling and capping for various sectors such as food, beverages, confectionery, and cosmetics.

Italy stands out as a leader in environmentally friendly packaging solutions that help businesses comply with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria. Known for its cutting-edge technology and innovative design, the Italian packaging industry is well-equipped to adapt to global market demands, enhancing its international appeal.

Investment in machinery and automated packaging lines has become a priority for Italian firms, significantly boosting productivity while minimizing production costs. Additionally, the incorporation of IoT and AI technologies optimizes production processes and quality monitoring, allowing major Italian packaging corporations to export their machinery and expertise to over 150 countries.

March 23, 1973, marked a pivotal moment in Vietnam-Italy relations, as it was the day that official diplomatic ties were established. Currently, Vietnam ranks as Italy’s largest trading partner in ASEAN, while Italy holds the position of Vietnam’s third-largest trading partner in the EU.

The ITA has consistently organized an Italian pavilion at ProPak Vietnam, successfully assisting numerous Italian companies in finding partners, fostering cooperation, and enhancing their brand visibility in the region.

The exhibition highlights Italy’s commitment to advancing packaging technology while emphasizing sustainability. The integration of innovative solutions positions Italian firms as leaders in the global market, fostering stronger trade relations between Italy and Vietnam.
