Accompanying the rains, the meteorological department cautioned residents, particularly in Highland East counties, of very cold nights with temperatures dropping to around 5°C for the next five nights, starting March 14.
Conversely, high daytime temperatures of up to 35°C are expected in Siaya, Kisumu, Homa Bay, and other listed counties. Other areas to also experience elevated daytime temperatures include Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, and Isiolo, signaling a mix of challenging weather conditions ahead.
