This marked their second year of support for this influential cultural tour. The caravan comprised three buses that journeyed across 14 regions in one week, allowing participants to engage deeply with the nation’s history, traditions, and food culture.

The caravan commenced with a breakfast event hosted by Channel One TV, where GB Foods served jollof rice prepared using their new Gino Jollof Mix. To enhance participants’ experiences, the company distributed souvenir packs containing tote bags, hand fans, and waist bags, ensuring memorable takeaways from the journey.

On March 2, the caravan reached the Volta Region for the Volta Food Festival, featuring traditional dishes such as Akple and Abobitadi, alongside stews and soups made using Gino Peppe and Onion Mix. The event celebrated local culinary flavors while highlighting GB Foods’ product range.

The next stop was on March 3 in the Upper East Region at the Gbewa Palace, where attendees tasted meals including Tuo Zaafi and Ayoyo Soup, complemented by Gino products like Pomo Tomato Mix and Dawadawa Jollof. This stop showcased regional specialties and emphasized GB Foods’ commitment to local cuisine.

On March 6, during the independence celebration in the Ashanti Region, the event “Pomo Mukaase wura” allowed participants to indulge in traditional dishes and local refreshments, along with interactive games. GB Foods created a vibrant atmosphere to celebrate Ghanaian food culture.

The culmination of the caravan occurred on March 8 at Maaha Beach Resort, featuring a barbecue with jollof rice made from the Gino Jollof Mix. Participants enjoyed various activities and games while connecting over GB Foods products, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to enhancing community bonds through food.
