Sudanese Military Regains Control of Key Buildings in Khartoum
The Sudanese military reclaimed the Republican Palace and other key government structures in Khartoum from the RSF, marking a vital victory after nearly two years of conflict. On March 21, 2025, the Sudanese military regained control of the Republican Palace, marking a significant victory over the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Following this, the military expanded its control by seizing additional key government buildings in Khartoum, including the Corinthia Hotel, and the Central Bank of Sudan. Brig. Gen. Nabil Abdullah confirmed the expulsion of RSF forces from these premises.
