According to the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM), the storm is expected to reach category one intensity before crossing the WA coast, likely on Friday night or Saturday morning.

The cyclone is projected to make landfall on the Kimberley coast, a remote area located about 2,000 km northeast of Perth. Residents in this sparsely populated region should brace for potentially damaging wind gusts and significant rainfall that may induce flash flooding in northern and western Kimberley.

Post-landfall, the BoM forecasts that the cyclone will weaken and shift southeast.
