Tata.ev Partners with Allied Motors to Launch EVs in Mauritius

Tata.ev has launched its electric vehicle lineup in Mauritius through a partnership with Allied Motors, featuring models like Tiago.ev, Punch.ev, and Nexon.ev. These vehicles offer advanced technology, performance, and low maintenance, aiming to capture the growing EV market as a part of Tata’s international expansion strategy.
Tata.ev, a subsidiary of Tata Motors, has officially entered the Mauritius market in collaboration with Allied Motors, the leading automobile distributor in the country. This partnership has resulted in the launch of several electric vehicles (EVs), including the Tiago.ev, Punch.ev, and Nexon.ev. These vehicles are engineered on advanced high-voltage platforms for enhanced performance and lower maintenance, catering to the emerging demand for EVs in Mauritius.
The Tiago.ev is designed for a smooth driving experience, featuring multi-mode regenerative braking, a compact design, and premium amenities such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen display and automatic climate control. In contrast, the Punch.ev merges style with technology, highlighted by its powerful motor, a 35-kWh battery for extended range, and a high-definition infotainment system.
The Nexon.ev, Tata’s flagship vehicle, is distinguished by its robust 45-kWh battery, fast-charging capabilities, and a high-tech interior equipped with features like a JBL sound system and a 360-degree camera. This range of vehicles aims to enhance Tata.ev’s presence in the growing electric vehicle market.
Yash Khandelwal, Head of International Business at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., remarked, “We are thrilled to introduce our electric vehicle portfolio in Mauritius, marking our first international expansion beyond the SAARC region.
