In the Qatar Sprint Race, Brad Binder, riding for Red Bull KTM, finished in 14th place. This event marked the 19th iteration of the Qatar Grand Prix, which took place at the Lusail International Circuit, known for its challenging 16 corners over a 5.3km distance, featuring three significant braking zones. Despite having prior podium finishes at this venue, the team continues to seek their first trophies of 2025 after races in Thailand, Argentina, and the USA.

Binder began the race qualifying in 18th position after navigating Q1 during sunset. He opted for a soft rear tire, which initially provided good grip, allowing him to challenge for a top-ten position. Unfortunately, he faced issues with grip that deteriorated over time, leading him to finish the 11-lap race in 14th place.

Reflecting on his performance, Binder stated, “Definitely not the right tire choice but I was having other problems and ran off track four times. It was very tricky and we need to get things under control for tomorrow.” He expressed confidence that the team would resolve the issues, noting, “We need to try and figure it out but we’re all pushing to solve it. I think we’ll be OK because the guys have some ideas in the pocket but at the moment we know our limit and cannot go over it.”
