The Directorate stated these suspects had physically assaulted the pastor and extorted a financial sum of 55,000 Kenyan shillings during the incident. It is reported that Campbell Scott’s body was found in a state of decomposition on February 22, having gone missing since he attended a business conference days earlier. His last known location was the JW Marriot Hotel, and his body was found more than 80 miles away in Makongo Forest.
Following Scott’s death, British officials expressed their condolences and confirmed support for his family. A spokesperson from Fico, where Scott was a senior director, mourned his loss, recognizing his contributions to the company since joining in 2014.
