BYD Seagull Launches with Impressive Features and Range Options in Morocco
The BYD Seagull has launched in Morocco with two range options: 230 km and 300 km. It features rapid charging capabilities, a solid build, numerous safety features, and smart connectivity options. This launch contributes to BYD’s growing footprint in the Moroccan electric vehicle market since July 2023, following previous vehicle introductions.
Recently, the BYD Seagull was launched in Morocco, offering two variants equipped with BYD blade batteries. These options provide driving ranges of 230 km and 300 km. The vehicle supports DC fast charging, enabling it to charge from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
BYD first entered the Moroccan market in July 2023 and has introduced six passenger vehicles thus far, including the Han, Tang, Yuan PLUS, Song PLUS, Seal, and now the Seagull.
During a press conference, Adil Bennami, General Manager of Auto Nejma, noted how the Seagull is tailored for urban use, stating, “This electric vehicle, specifically designed for urban scenarios, perfectly integrates cutting-edge technology with practical design, continuously demonstrating the concept of improving life through technological innovation.” The Seagull boasts a robust car body, six safety airbags, a 10.1-inch adaptive screen, and advanced connectivity with Android Auto and Apple Carplay, enabling intelligent voice control for enhanced driving experiences.
