Superintendent Minto Released from Hospital Following Two-Vehicle Crash

Superintendent Coleridge Minto was released from the hospital after a crash involving his Mitsubishi Pajero and a Nissan pickup. The pickup’s driver, Dwight Parchment, faces charges for careless driving and is set to appear in court on April 11.
Superintendent Coleridge Minto, head of the St Elizabeth police, was discharged from the hospital on March 17, four days post-collision. The incident occurred on March 13 when Minto, driving an unmarked Mitsubishi Pajero, experienced a collision with a Nissan pickup truck around 4:30 to 5:00 PM on the Jacks Gate main road in New Market.
Following the crash, Minto was initially admitted to Black River Hospital before being transferred to the University Hospital of the West Indies, where he underwent various medical tests. Currently, he is on sick leave after his release.
The Nissan pickup driver, identified as Dwight Parchment from Myersville district, has been charged with careless driving leading to the collision. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 11 in Santa Cruz to face the charges.
