Patrick Thompson, a licensed firearm holder accused of killing two women and injuring three others, was remanded in Manchester Parish Court as his bail application was deferred pending the retrieval of CCTV footage from the February 23 incident. His next court appearance is set for April 2, 2025. Charges against him include multiple counts of murder and attempted murder following a heated argument at a vigil that escalated to gunfire.

On March 19, 2025, Patrick Thompson, a licensed firearm holder charged with the fatal shooting of two women and injuring three others, appeared in Manchester Parish Court for the second time. His bail application was deferred as the court awaits raw CCTV footage related to the February 23 incident.

Judge Monique Harrison remanded Thompson to reappear on April 2 for the expected bail application from his attorneys, Peter Champagnie KC and Samoi Campbell. Champagnie noted the defense’s ongoing effort to access the CCTV footage, which is pertinent to the case.

Thompson, known as ‘Big T’ or Thommo,’ faces multiple serious charges stemming from the incident at a candlelight vigil on Levy Lane, including two counts of murder, attempted murder, and several counts relating to assault and firearm possession.

The incident reportedly began with an argument between Thompson and another man concerning a vehicle accident. This dispute escalated into a confrontation that involved gunfire directed at a crowd, resulting in the deaths of 42-year-old Stacy-Ann Mulgrave and 46-year-old Ann-Marie Hanson, as well as injuries to three others.

Patrick Thompson is currently in custody facing serious charges after allegedly killing two women and injuring three more during an incident at a vigil. His bail application will be considered again on April 2, contingent on the availability of CCTV footage that could impact the defense’s argument claiming self-defense. Given the gravity of the charges and the ongoing legal proceedings, further developments in Thompson’s case are anticipated as his attorneys seek to secure necessary evidence and ascertain bail conditions.
