Jackie Shroyer has been charged with the murder of her husband, Beau Shroyer, in Angola, where they served as missionaries. Allegations suggest a murder-for-hire plot involving multiple suspects. The couple’s five children are safe and have returned to the U.S.

A Minnesota woman, Jackie Shroyer, has been charged in Angola with her husband’s murder, as confirmed by their church. Her husband, Beau Shroyer, a 44-year-old missionary, was found dead on October 25, with Jackie at the scene. The church’s lead pastor, Troy M. Easton, expressed his sadness about the charges, describing Jackie as a co-author of the crime.

Jackie Shroyer was initially arrested in November, accused of orchestrating a murder-for-hire scheme. The church labeled the missionary’s death a “violent, criminal attack.” Alongside Jackie, two other suspects, Bernadino Isaac Elisa, a security guard, and Isalino Musselenga Kayoo, were arrested. Kayoo is considered the mastermind of the murder, while a fourth suspect remains at large.

Details from the Angolan Press Agency indicate that Jackie allegedly promised $50,000 for the murder and that there are suspicions of a romantic relationship between her and Elisa. Pastor Easton expressed disbelief and sorrow over the situation in previous communications, stating that a court date for Jackie has yet to be scheduled but is anticipated within six months.

The Shroyers relocated to Angola in 2021 under the evangelist organization SIM USA, intending to teach Christianity in a remote village. The couple has five children, aged 9 to 17, who are reportedly safe and have returned to the U.S., as stated by Pastor Easton.

In summary, Jackie Shroyer has been charged with her husband’s murder in Angola, where they served as missionaries. The case involves multiple suspects and allegations of a murder-for-hire plot. The children’s well-being has been assured as they are safely back in the U.S. The legal proceedings are expected to unfold in the coming months.
