Mozambique experiences a significant rainy season from October to April that frequently results in severe weather events, including tropical cyclones. The country is notably vulnerable to climate change impacts, facing recurrent floods that displace communities and damage infrastructure. Cyclones Chido and Dikeledi, which struck in December and January respectively, have been particularly devastating, with multiple fatalities and extensive displacement reported across the country. Such conditions strain local resources and amplify the need for humanitarian assistance.
