Cameroonian Bishop and Team Recovering Well After Accident

Bishop Michael Bibi and two others were involved in a car accident while en route to a consecration event in Yokadouma, Cameroon. Despite injuries, all are reported to be stable and recovering well. They attended the Consecration Mass after a brief medical check-up following the accident.
Bishop Michael Miabesue Bibi of the Catholic Diocese of Buea in Cameroon is currently in stable condition after a serious accident that occurred on February 28, 2025. He was traveling with a journalist and a driver to attend the Consecration of Bishop-elect Justin Georges Ebengue in Yokadouma. Following the incident, the Bishop was reported to be recovering well as confirmed by the Chancellor of the Diocese, Fr. Michael Kengnjoh.
The accident took place as they approached Yokadouma, where the vehicle they were in tumbled twice but ultimately regained stability. Despite appearing injured, Bishop Bibi, along with the journalist and driver, proceeded to attend the Consecration Mass on March 1 after a brief medical examination.
