ECARX Holdings partners with Volkswagen Group to provide digital cockpit solutions for Skoda and Volkswagen vehicles. ECARX Holdings Inc. announced its collaboration with the Volkswagen Group to supply advanced digital cockpit solutions for Volkswagen and Skoda vehicles. This venture will leverage the ECARX Antora® 1000 computing platform and ECARX Cloudpeak® software architecture, delivering an integrated digital experience. Initial implementations will launch in Brazil and India, with plans for future market expansions.

The ECARX Antora® 1000 is a fourth-generation digital cockpit platform utilizing a 7nm high-performance SE1000 System-on-Chip (SoC) from SiEngine. The ECARX Cloudpeak® is a flexible platform based on the Android Automotive operating system and Linux, integrating services like Google Maps and Google Assistant, along with mobile connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, among others.

ECARX develops its operating system and ECARX Cloudpeak® software stack in-house, ensuring a compact, cost-effective, and energy-efficient digital cockpit. This system enhances user experiences using Android OS and Google Automotive Services, with additional details expected to follow. This integration will drive intelligent cockpit features in Skoda and Volkswagen vehicles.
