Three men are wanted for the murder of Scottish businessman Campbell Scott in Kenya, whose body was found in a sack of pineapples after he went missing. The investigation has led to several arrests, with two men accused of using his bank cards, and authorities are seeking Interpol’s assistance to track financial transactions related to Scott’s case.

Police in Kenya are searching for three individuals linked to the murder of Campbell Scott, a Scottish businessman. Scott’s body was discovered in a sack of pineapples in a forest 60 miles from Nairobi after he went missing on February 16. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has identified the suspects: Benard Mbunga Mbusu, Samuel Musembi Kamitu, and Alphonse Munyao Kilewa, known as “Edu.” They released their images on social media, urging anyone with information to come forward.

Scott, 58, who was a senior director at credit scoring firm Fico, vanished after he failed to meet colleagues after visiting a nightclub while attending a conference in Nairobi. His body was found in Makongo Forest with hands bound, prompting multiple arrests related to his case. Two men, a taxi driver and a nightclub waiter, were initially detained due to their proximity to Scott shortly before his disappearance.

Further developments included the arrest of two more suspects in Mombasa, located 301 miles from Nairobi. Authorities suspect that Scott was killed in a house visited by one of the suspects, who subsequently used Scott’s bank cards. A court has authorized police to hold the arrested suspects for 21 days as investigations continue.

A post-mortem examination yielded inconclusive results, prompting pathologists to pursue toxicology testing as it was determined that injuries found on Scott were too minor to be the cause of death. In a bid for further assistance, the DCI has requested Interpol’s help to trace Scott’s mobile phone and banking transactions, underscoring their commitment to resolving the case.

The investigation into the murder of Campbell Scott remains active with multiple suspects in custody and ongoing searches for three additional wanted individuals. The police are diligently working to unearth vital details about Scott’s last moments, as revealed through his financial transactions and the connections between the suspects. As the DCI collaborates with international agencies, there is hope for justice in this brutal crime.
